July’s midpoint invites us to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come this year.


This week, let’s practice a mid-summer reflection - balancing gratitude with the presence to stay grounded amid life’s heat.

 

Mid-summer can feel busy - vacations, social events, and personal projects. Yet, without mindful reflection, we risk drifting through days without noticing growth or challenges. Self-awareness can blossom when we take time to reflect. This week, carve out a simple mindful pause to honor where you are now.



Monthly Review [Meditation]

  • Sit in a quiet space for five minutes.

  • Close your eyes, take three deep breaths, and ask: “What went well for me in July?” Notice any internal sensations - warmth, ease.

  • Then ask: “What was challenging?” Observe where you feel tension or tightness.

  • Finally, ask: “What is my intention for the next two weeks?” Let the answer arise without forcing.

  • Afterward, jot three bullet points in a journal: one success, one challenge, one intention.
